the Idiot Savant
(42% dark, 53% spontaneous, 52% vulgar) |
your humor style: VULGAR | SPONTANEOUS | LIGHT
You like things silly, immediate, and, above all, outrageous. Ixne on the subtle word play, more testicles on fire, please. People like you are the most likely to RECEIVE internet forwards--and also the most likely to save them in a special folder entitled 'HOLY SHIT'.
Because it's so easily appreciated, and often wacky and physical, your sense of humor never ceases to amuse your friends. Most realize that there's a sly intelligence and a knowing wink to your tastes. Your sense of humor could be called 'anti-pretentious'--but paradoxically enough, that indicates you're smarter than most.

my inner spirit... The Werewolf: The Werewolf is the symbol for Spiritual Paths. You have the soul of a wolf inside you, which makes you warm and caring to those you love.
Strengths: Protection is a number one priority, and therefore you always gaurd the ones you love and keep tight bonds with your pack mates. Loyalty is strong within yourself, and you also expect it from the ones who are close to you.
Flip Side: Even though you care for those you love deeply, if they betray you, anger races through your veins. The Werewolf, despite it's warm fun-loving personality, can also stand up for itself if need be. You would have no problem hiding your anger if something sets you off balance. Congratulations! a way overdue update
Summer's over and so is the first week of college. Since I haven't updated since who knows when....the summer went something like this: May and June were spent at WCC taking History, Geography, and Volleyball eliminating 3 GenEds from Bing. Those were completed without any problem. June, July, and August I was back at Gracelane Kennels. It was my third summer with this job, and I hope there will definitely be a fourth. I'm second under my boss since one person quit, which means I'm always welcome to come back. In August, I went to Las Vegas for two weeks. I enjoyed my cousin's son's 5 year birthday party where there was a huge inflatable water slide in the back yard. I hit Mandalay Beach, the show We Will Rock You, and other things on the Strip. A good chunk of that trip was also spent in Utah camping at Zion National Park for a few days (a lot of awesome hiking, and my first time camping) and my cousin's summer home in Cedars City, Utah where we spent a couple days ATVing and doing a lot of offroading in his Land Rover. Besides all that, I just spent time with my relatives, played with my cousin's 5 yr old son and 2 yr old daughter, and relaxed. I definitely can't wait to go back out there again. Before school, and right after Vegas, the kennel became a very insane place. One person quit, we thought the person right under my boss quit for a few days, until she randomly showed up a couple days after her original weekend vacation saying her cell was dead and didn't have a car charger and all she did was take a few extra days (and somehow none of her like 15 other relatives there had a cell to call??). So for about a week, it was my boss and I running the show. Oh and I forgot to mention the fact of being shortstaffed for basically the entire summer and a rampant viral cough any dog could contract. So yeah stress. Happy to say, the person right under my boss came back and the summer worked out just fine. But due to the shortstaffing, and my talking to my boss, I got a bunch of things to change and keep everyone happy around the kennel. I also offered to come back last weekend after moving up to Bing and this weekend to work. The things I do for my boss and coworkers... So yeah, I moved to Bing last Friday, and came back home same day. Worked that weekend, back in Bing last Sunday night. The first week of classes, wow a lot of work. Here's the run down of what I have (6 total, credits in () ): Engineering Mechanics (5), Physics II Calc Based (4), Ordinary Differential Equations (4), Great Ideas in Physics (4), Leadership Forum (1), Yoga (1). All of my professors are awesome, but I'm working my ass off. The first 3 are huge lectures, the next 2 are small personalized classes, and yoga is well...yoga. And here I am back home Labor Day weekend to work. Went to my Uncle's for dinner last night and got the usual "How's college?" questions. I was back at the kennel today. Funny how I disappear for 5 days and all the little things I usually take a moment here and there to do never seem to be taken care of by anyone else, even though it makes the daily grind so much easier and bearable. Oh well, I'm still happy to be back. Working tomorrow morning, evening, and Monday morning before I head back to Bing in the late afternoon. Now it's off to see the Transporter 2. I'm in the mood for a good action movie, hopefully it won't disappoint. After another 4 days of classes this week, it's home next weekend as well. But not for work, for a much much better reason...Yankees vs. Red Sox, and my tickets are in the Field Champ Section 19 =) Can't wait!! | | Tuesday, July 19th, 2005 | | 8:50 am |

haven't updates for almost a month.....
So nothing out of the ordinary's been happening, just home for summer doing the usual. Keep reading if you like. Got all my grade's back, GPA didn't change from last semester, which is awesome :) I'm back at the kennel Friday-Sunday until summer session ends at Westchester Community College. Gives me plenty of cash to do things. As for my babysitting job, I'm more "on call." If she needs me I'm usually available any night of the week except Tuesday because of fire house drills. At WCC I'm taking Early American History, Human Geography, and Volleyball. I'm enjoying every class and they're incredibly easy. I couldn't ask for a better way to enjoy class and get rid of 3 GenEds in only a month. Aside from work and school, I've been doing a shitload of yardwork that's beginning to finally seem worth my while. I completely rearranged my room, got rid of a desk and a few big trash bags of crap. It's nice to actually have open space for once in here. Other than that, been hanging out with friends, renting movies....the usual things you do to kill free time. After class today went to Woodbury Commons for some summer clothes...just realized I forgot sandles lol. Anyways, time for dinner (Lasagna, yum). just a long overdue update
Can't say much has been happening besides end of school stuff. Last week was the Engineering Project Report (61 pages) and Animal Ethics projects. Every one of those was due Thursday but it wasn't bad at all looking back now (except I did have 2 nights in a row with only 4 hours of sleep or less each). So needless to say when those were handed in I relaxed and slacked all the way through today lol. Now my 3 finals (Engineering, Physics I, Calc III) are Wednesday and Thursday. I'll start studying for those soon. Friday I got my car and packed up like 3/4 of my dorm room and took it home. I got home and dad had me cut the lawn (only got half done in 2 hours lol). My allergies suck!!! They're worse than last near with the stuffy/runny nose. But I actually did miss doing my yardwork. Idk but there's something about being home and doing that kind of stuff I find relaxing. So when I was done with that, I drove back to Bing at 5PM. Made it back by 7:45 in rush hour traffic lol. I came to my room, crashed for an hour and half, took a shower and just spent the night in relaxing. Saturday and Sunday I slept 11 hours! I don't remember the last time I did that. Saturday Gatti's parents came and took her, me, and Jenna to Olive Garden. A bunch of us also went to Chinese Buffet today. It's so great to have a car even for just the weekend here at Bing. Idk how I survive all the rest of the time. Anyway now I have to start getting serious about finals so I can go home and be like Hey Dad look how good I did, now don't bother me about not doing well. There's no doubt in my mind I will make the Dean's List again this semester, so even if finals don't go awesomely, I can still show Dad that letter. Grades so far look like I can pull at least an.... A in Calculus B+ in Physics B+ in Animal Ethics B+ in Engineering Anyways I think I'm off to bed now even though I wanted to stay up a little later and read over things....good night. Current Mood: Not yet stressed | | Thursday, April 28th, 2005 | | 11:08 am |
So nothing out of the ordinary happening over the past week. We had a 3-day weekend so I went home again. Proctored the Foreign Civil Service Exam on Saturday (easiest way to make 100 bucks in the world). Sunday I traveled all across Southeast NY in search of landscape views for my Animal Ethics art project. That involved a lot of hiking so it was more of a relaxing day for me. Monday was just sit around and do homework and things. Back here has been the same old thing with classes and what not. Last night was the highlight of the week, the Green Day concert! That thing was freakin awesome. Beginning I was with friends in the mosh pit, but then it got really crowded and everyone really just started pushing and swaying. So I went with it and made my way within three feet of center stage and stayed there for the entire concert I got some awesome pics with my cell and called some people with live audio feeds. It was freakin hot up there (I came out soaked and that was only partially from the supersoakers and water bottles). When they started going into 2nd to last song, Blvd of Broken Dreams, I made my way back and crowd surfed all the way up. So much fun. Afterwards came back here where John was sitting editing video (he spends too many of his nights in this room lol). Got to sleep around 1, but only 2 classes today and it starts at 11:40. Life is good :) | | Saturday, April 23rd, 2005 | | 10:16 pm |
Your brain: 160% interpersonal, 100% visual, 20% verbal, and 120% mathematical!
|
Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.
Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:
- Don't date someone if your interpersonal percentages differ by more than 80%.
- Don't be friends with someone if your verbal percentages differ by more than 100%.
- Don't have sex with someone if their math percentage is over 200%.

I had an interesting weekend. Saturday i did my scholars event with the kids. that was fun and ends that class now once i write my paper tomorrow. saturday night i wasn't sure what i was gonna do...i made the choice to go to the best party i've been to all year...i won't post those details here, IM me if u want to know lol. but i didn't do anything sunday just about until like 8pm. monday was engineering presentation, went great, work was slowww but it was the first night i didn't need a heavy jacket, love this weather. today was animal ethics presentation, i think it went awesome. got a bunch done today and i also have seasons 1 & 2 of 24 in my hands now, 3 is on the way. this is gonna be a late nite, john is using my desktop as i do my things on the laptop, he needs a firewire port and way to download video from a dv-cam, figures he comes to me and my media center PC and laptop haha, i love these machines. i'm gonna find something to do with this time. g'night | | Tuesday, April 12th, 2005 | | 11:30 pm |
Time for a long overdue update, but it really comes down to one word: school! In calc I'm just making sure I can do the problems and get the answers. Understanding how it works is normally a priority for me but hasn't been lately. I'm still doing good, got an A on test 2 so no complaints. Test 3 is soon and since its on a short day, my prof just said he'll make it 3 instead of 4 problems, so its a guaranteed +25. Watson classes are getting annoying with Design Project presentation on its way Monday. Gotta put that together tomorrow during my 5-hour break. No complaints about my group, they do the work they have to, don't complain, and are fun to work with. Physics is well physics, this is like year 3 of it for me. I go, write down the notes, and zone out for the most part since it's like second nature now. That leaves Animal Ethics. Half of the projects are done there, but half are left. Showing of Peaceable Kingdom went off without a hitch, volunteering work and paper is done with, response papers are finished for the semester, presetnation is made but has been moved for the 3rd time!! to Tuesday. I want to present and be done with it. Meanwhile, I've still got a research paper, powerpoint for that paper, xxx number of pages to read, giving up a saturday for a trip to Farm Sanctuary (it's required), and maybe something else there lol. But don't get me wrong, I love the class and other kids in it, just one hell of a lot of work. Can't forget that Scholars Forum. We're hosting a kids weekend this Saturday to do fun activities. It's something to look forward to. This past weekend was spent with Patricia from animal ethics and the forum lol. Saturday was the volunteer work at a cat rescue center for most of the day. I've gotten the bus schedule memorized from Binghamton to Endicott by now lol. Then Sunday a group of 6 was supposed to meet at the bus stop in front of the University Union to get goodie bag supplies. 2 couldn't make it we knew in advance, 2 just weren't clear on the time I guess, so that left Patricia and I again lol. Went to AC Moore and charged 90 bucks for bags, color in mugs, and bubbles. So I'm pushing around a huge cart full of kids stuff, a college guy with a cart full of kids stuff in a store with only college girl employees. I didn't think much of it until I got a feeling at the checkout with the cashier and Patricia mentioned it after we left: college guy + answering what the kid stuff is for = instant girl magnet lol. After we wheeled that cart over into the Dollar Store where I spent 133 bucks, never thought I could spend more than 100 in the Dollar Store. Got cards, bouncy balls, and other things. So weekend was about getting things done for classes but it was also a fun welcomed break. Saturday is scholars kids thing, Monday is engineering presentation, Tuesday is animal ethics presentation. After that...research paper, presentation, tests, finals.....HOME | | 11:25 pm |

Back home!
I can update xanga and LJ (seems more friends are on this) by just copying and pasting, isn't technology great? Well I'm back home (yes, again). Spent Friday and Saturday at the Villa Roma for FCCLA State Meeting as an Alumni. I had a blast and wish I could have been there for the entire thing, especially R-5. I finally got to just be at a state meeting as an alumni, no advisor to answer to, just hang out with everyone and have a great time. I knew who a lot of alumni were, but not a lot knew me and that changed this weekend. It was an awesome time from the banquet with the games of telephone to staying up til 430 AM "waiting for the latest from the Vatican" (yeah right haha). But anyways time to get to sleep. I was up for 23 and half hours straight Friday and only 3 hours of sleep. Add to that I'm losing an hour of sleep and have to be up at 8AM for OSHA training then drive back to Binghamton, greeeeaaaatttttt. | | Tuesday, March 1st, 2005 | | 1:47 am |
Just decided to create this....
Seems there's so many people I know of on LJ it's easier to just open my own account here. I'll still stick to updating xanga tho, so just click the My Webpage link. |
